Nestled in the heart of the South Pacific is the island nation of Vanuatu formally known as the New Hebrides. Surrounded by other island nations like Fiji and New Caledonia, this nation is at the heart of the South Pacific and a perfect step off point to reach out to other island nations in the region.
Our DTS is a cross cultural school combining island and western cultures as the students spend time defining their faith and prepare to reach out to our neighbor nations. The school will start with a short three-day course on how to speak Bislama, the local dialect consisting of a mixture of English and French.
The course is the normal three-month lecture phase period held at our Family Care Centre in Port Vila, Vanuatu with a two-month outreach in one of the Pacific islands. The Family Care Centre is a ministry of Marine Reach. The lecture phase consists of all the normal subjects carried in our DTS’s with international speakers flown in for a week or two.
Dates: 20 July 2020 – 04 December 2020.
